What youth wants

okay if you want me to list out ALL my wants, that would be impossible. cause they are infinity. so here im going to choose my top5 wants which i really wish to get first if im asked to choose!

as a youth, most of the things we(at least me) think of are stuffs that make us feel great and satisfied. we only have our youth once so i really hope to own these before i get old or when i don really have my freedom after marriage or anything lol.

1. Kuching to have professional and qualified street dance competition. My dance crew, Vanity Crew to be recognized and given more opportunities

If you follow my blog, you will know that i have the passion in dancing and there are quite a number of entries about my dance career. i've mentioned, im happy and satisfied when i dance, especially when performing on the stage, for huge audience.

therefore, i hope people here will truly understand about street dance and can really differentiate street dance from any other sorts of dance. Kuching to have qualified street dance competitions with fair and proficient street dance judges and instructors from West Malaysia and even overseas. take Astro Battleground as an example.

and also Vanity Crew to be more popular not only within Kuching, but nationwide and even internationally.

2. My blog to be known by more people out there.

i really admire full time bloggers like Xiaxue, Cheesie and Janechuck. their life are amazing and they really enjoy and live them to the fullest. and i wish to be like them too. get to meet more amazing people, invited to gatherings and parties, offered and get sponsored for great deals, enjoying my life too at this age.

i hope to be in one of the daily bloggers and blogger of the month. get reviewed so people can get to know my blog. and hopefully, like it as well.

3. Money, Fashion
yes! everyone loves money. and as a girl. i really wish to own a lot a lot of outfits, handbags, accessories, makeups, shoes, and not to say designers' pieces somemore! if i can win this, its maybe like one step closer achieving them! haha.

4. More malls or places to enjoy in Kuching.
huge malls like these!

huge malls that even have indoor rock climbing facilities, dance studios, like Orchard Central, SG.

huge malls with indoor ice-skating, Sunway.

huge malls that have amusement park, concert hall, West Edmonton Mall, Canada

more places for us to hang out during weekends or nightlife. more events and entertainments being carried out.

5. still, the most important of all, the bf, friends and family to live a safe, healthy and happy life.

so these are what i want the most. working hard to achieve some of them. and i really hope to win this. looking forward for great news.

Aloha people im back! Exam's finally over im back to a happy girl now :D well i actually think that i can no longer score straight As for my foundation course dy since the finance paper was frigging hard. 1 paper ruins everything. I only wish for a pass now. As for accounting2, please at least make it to 3.7!

And im, indeed always, looking for more part time and freelance jobs. Need more money to shop and travel. So if anyone of you or your friends are looking for promoter/ambassador/usherette, please, contact me either through my twitter or email. Fb also can but i don really on my fb, so yea. I would be very pleased if you can do that :D

btw, its already 22nd of May and i only have one entry for this month. lol so fail. my next post is going to be my wants' post. hopefully it can be done by tomorrow. seriously, sometime i keep the draft for quite a long time then only i complete and publish it lolol. i know i know fail blogger :( really have to do something to meet my resolution lol.

anyway, Vanity started practicing for a comp yesterday. its a tournament coming up next month. we only have one month left and i hope everything goes on smoothly. its a big deal so i really hope that Vanity can do it this time. to be exact i hope we are given chance. new member, Beverly joined us. she is doing well. hopefully she doesnt give herself too much stress but truly enjoy the dance ;)

Plans for Hols

a silly pic of me. im now laying on my bed writing this entry while waiting for the bf to be home and call me. So its almost 2am now. Tmr will be sitting for my first finals paper. I really hope i can score well in all of them. Second last sem i really hope i've got no B for my foundation course. Anyway, im actually here to write bout things i've already planned to do after my finals lol. I know i always do that. Thinking bout holiday when the exam is yet to be started.

1. First, there will be 3 street dance comps holding up. Hot Dance Comp Miri Open in Miri, apparently. Rock Em Right which used to be Borneo Street Dance Comp. and the largest dance tournament in Msia, Kingz of the Ringz by Street Nation from KL. And im not sure which one Vanity Crew will be joining, since most of the members are currently busy with their own routines. But well i will just keep you guys updated :)
2. Second is the Rainforest World Music Festival. You will probably know that i've already got the tickets if you follow my instagram. Well its actually my first time to be there and im really looking forward to enjoy myself :D
3. Sketch a portrait of the bf. This is in my waiting list for a long time. And of course i'll post it up once im done.
4. Earn and save more money for my shopping spree with the bf on next year jan.
5. This will be the common one. Work. I need more part time or freelance jobs, seriously. To complete task 4. And also to shop for now lol.
6. Preloved to put up for sale perhaps.

I thinks thats what i can think of for now. Off to Sims free play. Download it from the apps store if you haven't. Nice game and its free.

Jocelyn 19th Bday

time flies. remember i said how i wish i could end my secondary school life as soon as possible and move on to my college life. and now im about to finish my foundation course and going to start my degree in year end. however, i still love all my secondary friends. never wanna lose any one of them in my life :)

so it was one of my bestie, Jocelyn's birthday last Wednesday. we all celebrated and dined at Tom's before our second round at Balibu.

i actually took my dinner at home before going to Tom's. was so hungry after class lol. but i still order myself chicken chop and i actually finished it all. simply delicious.

so like usual we girls just did all the camwhoring after our meals :P

and the birthday girl edited this.

walked to Balibu which is just located at the opposite shoplot of Tom's after that. its karaoke session and Jocelyn had anothor bunch of her friends to celebrate with her as well. and one of them, another admirer for exact actually prepared a huge and nice looking cake for her :)

enjoyed myself so much that night except that im still sick and i cant really sing. and disappointingly i waited for my song for like one whole night and it didnt show up -.- hate it when the shopper keeps letting their friends sing and skipped our turn. but well thats just a small part. i had a great night :D

Movies reviews

time fore some movies reviews :D im going to do 3 movies' reviews here which are the Street Dance 2, Battleship and Lockout.

Rated 6/10

if it is to say street dance movies, i still prefer Step Up series since they always have better story line, street dance moves and choreography. they always impress me a lot. without the latin part, Street Dance 2 for me is actually quite bored. im not that excited when it comes to the part they compete. different compared to when i was watching Step Up which i really feel like joining them.

but yeah the latin part was really amazing. they are all really good. i was really shocked during the latin part cause its something that i've never seen before. so different compared to the latin we have here. so nice! so yea. thats it for Street Dance 2, the overall was okay.

Rated 9.5/10

Battleship was really nice for me. their graphics and the quality of the film are top notch. the action scene is cool and not fake at all.

Rated 8/10

Lockout is about a prison break in space where a condemned man who wrongly convicted of conspiracy, who is offered his freedom in exchange for a big task, break into that orbital prison that has been overrun by inmates, in order to rescue the president’s daughter. This movie is not bad except the front part which was so computerized.

thats all from me. i actually watched Hunger Games but i was actually quite disappointed. not as i expected. its always better to read the books instead of watching the movie. have a nice day :D

Together for Humanity 2012 by MRC

how i look that day. the bf doesnt like me with heavy make-up. me either :P

sorry that i kept on delaying guys D: cause i don really have photos of us that day, but i think i shall just update about it first since i have time now. maybe i will just write another entry once i get some of our photos?
and fyi, there will be more of my anger and thoughts posted here, instead of a proper post about the event. so if you mind, just skip this post, peace :)

"Together for Humanity" is a dance competition that was held by the MRC, Malaysia Red Crescent. It contains a series of different categories and styles:
i. School category for kindergartens, primary and secondary students
ii. Traditional category which is suppose to be contained by traditional cultural dance, ballet and so on
iii. Street Dance category which only includes the hiphop, break dance, contemporary
iv. Senior citizens for those above 55

it is so easy to differentiate all these dances, but im really doubt with people that were in charge who practically did not do their part on dance references and mixed all thing up, and in the end, faces criticisms from all.

its not ok if you cant differentiate street dance and traditional dance and yet you still organize a dance competition. some kind of silat dance got champion in street dance category? i don care if its traditional dance or not. as long as its not street dance, you certainly went under the wrong category. whats more, ballet got 2nd runner up in street dance category? i know they are good and i think they are good too. but hey, you all made some mistakes. you 2 belongs to the second category. i've got no problem if the ballet won in the traditional category. but certainly not with our category man.

but yea, whats done is done. like i mentioned, i believe at the crowd. i believe the reason why the applauded at us that much and the reason why the shouted VANITY when they were announcing the winners. anyway, still happy for Stepholic that got 3rd runner up, congrats! :D

PIKOM PC Fair

hey guys. time for some updates :P its been a hectic week i had. after done busying with all my assignments and presentation, i continue to work for AVF at the PIKOM PC Fair which was held last weekend at the BCCK. met new friends and happy to say that i had tons of fun during that 3 days :D

i actually got that job through my sis who knew the person in charge. and then my classmate, Fiona wanted to join me as well. was so lucky that our manager or boss, hmm anything, treats everyone of us so well, and he even gave us a little souvenir at the last day of work. i totally had no pressure working there at all :)

thats the cashiers, annie and brenda who work for PC Image.

and 2 funny guys i met, christopher and chai hui.

and there is only thing that i believe every of the part timers and exhibitors hate about which is the food provided by the F&B department of BCCK. honestly, the food was awful. hope they really can take all these feedback into considerations. come on, RM7 per meal and thats what we have?

anyway, not regret that i ended up working for AVF instead of the Ford roadshow at Hills even though they have a higher pay. looking forward to the next pc fair :)

and fyi, Vanity is going to join "Together for Humanity" charity dance competition at The Spring which starts at noon time. so please show some support over there. hope to see you there.

KL trip + Bff Hang-out

hey guys! im suppose to continue with my assignments but apparently im not but here updating my dusty diary. i'll try to make it quick ya. its actually just a little shopping spree i had with my family and also visits to our relatives in kl. and also some hang-out with my bff Joseph who is currently staying and studying there.

we went Levain Boulangerie Patisserie for lunch. a lot of bloggers introduced this place before and we have both known this place for quite some time dy but never had the chance to be there. so its a really good timing to be there since i promised to treat him there cause he helped me a lot in buying the Montblanc perfume last time so that i can give the boyfriend a surprise during the Valentines day.

the interior. the prices there are all reasonable and affordable. probably thats why it was so packed the day we went. especially cause its weekend. i personally like the interior very much too.

Joseph had himself Chicken Lasagne and i just stayed in my comfort zone, Chicken Meatball Bolognaise. ordered side dishes as well, mushroom soup and Triple Cheese and Chicken Ham pizza. yea its our side order. lol

as usual. had myself camwhored while waiting for our meal to be served. hehe

these food pictures were stolen from Joseph cause im too lazy to transfer the photos in my camera :P

tried his Chicken Lasagne and it was so yummehhh~ prefer this rather than my bolognaise. rate it 4.5/5

my Chicken Meatball Bolognaise. normal. 3/5.

our Triple Cheese and Chicken Ham pizza. it was good. 4/5.

and mushroom soup. forget how it taste like. hmm. so i wouldn't be giving it a rate. probably quite ok as well.

total of RM50.25. super cheap right! we ordered 4 courses and it costs me only one green paper! hehe. really recommend this place. i must go there again during my next visit with the boyfriend. i was really full and satisfied! :D

Lastly, show you guys what i bought for Handsome my dog at Pets Wonderland. haha. little souvenir.

Busy March

so its March now. gonna have my final 2 months later. and im totally messed up with my studies this sem. must make sure this is settled after im back from KL.

things keep coming in. i started my March with quite a hectic week. part time job as DiGi product ambassador for 3 days in a row, dance practices for upcoming competition at night, and assignment to hand in before my trip to KL next week. this is only the first week of March, after im back in Kuching, i'll have my second assignment to be done and also to continue to catch up with the dance routines for the comp. but i love it to spend my days this way. i dont want to be person planking at home, or just online for the whole freaking day!

checking back my 2012 resolution list,

1. Another trip with my hubby. 2. Score more 4.0 for my exams. 3. Update my blog more often. Lol a bit guilty for this :P 4. Accept more part time jobs and make sure i save the money and spend them accordingly. 5. Keep improving in dancing and make sure Vanity is ready for more and more exposure. 6. Vanity get at least one top 3 in a dance comp. 7. Improve my self esteem. Prettier and more mature please :3 8. Improve in socializing. Must not be shy everytime i get along with new people, as well as the old ones. 9. Control my temper betterly. 10. Be healthy and happy :D

no tick for the first ones cause the trip is on 2013 Jan. lol. hope to have another trip at the end of this year. no tick for second ones :( i think the third ones is in process. oh and the fourth ones. i need moreeeeee part time job. yes moreeeeeeeeeeee. i hope i can get to know more companies or event companies that are looking for product ambassador. but seriously, can they get their promoters paid on time? -.- anyway, i have a target this year which is to earn as much as i can. there is something on my 'to buy list' and i really hope that i can finally tick it by the end of this year or maybe next year before cny? as well to travel again. next, the 5th and the 6th ones are also in the process :) 7th as well hahaha! 8th 9th and 10th as well! :D

thats all from now. even if its a busy March, im still excited cause its me and the hubby boy anniversay month. cant wait for our 'honeymoon'! have a nice day!

Mting 19th Birthday

If you have known me through my secondary school, you will probably know who my besties are. and the eldest among us, Mting had her 19th birthday celebration with us sisters and her friends at Secret Sanctuary last Saturday. Fyi, Secret Sanctuary is located at Stutong area. for detailed address, click here.

It is a nice cozy place with unique interior design. do check this place out if you want to find a nice place for chilling and limteh.

however, im so not pleased with the food served. I ordered ala carte set meal, which includes chicken chop, pasta and salad, it is awful. the chicken chop is ok, but certainly not the pasta and salad. it was so wrong it looked and taste like mee hoon. with some kind of mayonnaise or sauce on top of it. and i din even touch the salad. so phail. therefore i only recommend people to go there only for some chilling and drinks.

but i was told by my classmate that she went there once and ordered local food like bee-lin vege and they are nice. but how come there are only 5 or 6 western courses i saw when i went?

anyway back to the topic. Jocelyn, Roseline and I bought Lancome perfume set that comes with a mascara and pencil eyeliner for her. and she loves it.

Valentines Day

It was our 3rd Valentines. We only made our reservation one day before the V day, at Hilton Waterfront Cafe after we have went out of choices. the V day is just another simple day for us to go pakto and have dinner together. never expect that most of the cafes were actually fully reserved. ive called Mr.Ho's, Simplilicious, Blablabla, The Junk, and also Big Oven which i thought it was still under the name Oregano and there were all fully booked.

i really think that Kuching's couples are increasing rapidly year by year. lol seriously. it was not that packed few years ago when we can still make reservation a day before and there are still a couple of restaurants available.

We wanted to check out Soulis while we are on our way to Hilton only to figure out it was under renovation or something. Reached Hilton around 8pm and it was so packed.

just a couple of photos i took using the iphone that night. did not bring a cam with us cause we were in a hurry that night since we were both hungry dy.

as you can see how awful the front camera of iphone is especially using it at night or at a dark place compare to the main camera. we went Senso after our meal mainly to wait for the lucky draw session. ordered Long Beach Island and it was not as good as Pullman's.

and the lucky draw all goes to aunties and uncles. Rose Gold necklace, 2 days stay at Hilton and a champagne. then we just stay and chill at the lounge with Darren's friend and his gf who came after.

Our 4th anniversary is just 1 month away and i really cant wait for it. booked Damai and we are so going to chill out there after all we are both just too busy with our own stuffs, schools and works these days.

I love my hubby boy so much that more than words can say. i know he does too. hope you all enjoyed your valentines as well, xoxo.

CNY was over, and now Valentines is just next Tuesday, hows your preparation? :D i bought present for Darren through my friend, Joseph who is currently studying in KL and had him send it all over to Kuching by courier service. Will receive it by tomorrow. yay! So much thanks to him and i promised to treat him when i go KL during March :) really appreciate this cause without his help this would definitely become impossible although i still have friends staying in Kl only that they are all not that close. *Joseph you reading this?*

The boyfriend thought that i bought nothing for him cause thats what i told him. hopefully he believes it. love giving him surprises! its something that Kuching doesnt have, at least for now. they were all sold out. spent so much effort just to get him this present cause thats his favourite brand. im not going to tell what i bought for him only until my blog post about my Valentines celebration :)

For singles out there, well just party hard with a bunch of crazy friends. that would be fun enough. cheers :)

2012 Resolution

Hey guys, so its the second day of CNY. Im now actually laying on my bed writing this post using my iphone. Its Blogger's app i downloaded few days ago from apps store :) hope Blogger will improve this app cause i only rate it 3 out of 5.

So yea, i will set up a new resolution list every year. So for this dragon year, i will try my best to accomplish all the tasks below.

yesterday was Chap Goh Meh. did a last minute shopping at noon time with my 2 sisters at The Spring and Hills. and these are my bargains. you may see this pic in my instagram if your following me :)

went back at 4something and we were just in time for our reunion dinner :) how was your reunion dinner yesterday? hope you all had a great time. i had mine at around 4 cause we were all starving since the whole morning of tiding up. and these are all my mum's cooking. she is the best. appreciate everything she did to this family.

2012 CNY

Chinese New Year is just 2 weeks away and im soo not ready yet cause i only got 3 tops, a bag and a pair of wedges :( did not travel thats why i couldnt have much new outfits. surfed so much online boutiques but bought a few only. hope i can get to know more blogshops.

anyway, my room is, at least for now, ready for the new year. boyfie came last Sunday to help me stick up my oh-so-awesome wallpaper. lol. its actually flowery wallpaper. love it to the max.

this is the end results. and thats my very busy body doggie sniffing all around.

in the process. my room was really in a mess. threw everything on the table and the bed.

however im still not satisfied cause i wan this kind of drawers/wardorbe/makeup table. lol whatever name it is. going to hunt it at IKEA when i go KL in March :D

i love it when it comes to gambling session everytime during cny. people gather around and have fun. and also getting ang pao. im 19 this year so i hope i wont get that little before i turn into 20 something when adults stop giving me lol.

Vanity performed at The Spring during Christmas Eve for the Christmas Eve Extravaganza. and that was actually the first time Vanity girls performed without our leader Cherry. she was travelling at KL that time. fortunately the performance that night was great! :D

Before 2011 ends

look at Mr.pimple! he was there since Christmas eve! counting down together with me T___T

guess this should probably be my last post for 2011. hmm such a wonderful year. cherish and never complain since we are still breathing and reading this post healthily. thanks for everything i had and experienced.

finally graduated from the freaking 5 years secondary school life, excitedly entered my first year in college, met new friends, been so hardworking to get all A's, hey at least im not that hardworking in secondary school :P the birth of Vanity, and us getting to more and more exposure, all members so hardworking practicing for all the showcases and competition. hubby finally got his desirably interior deco job which is actually what he is currently studying. having an extinct kind of boss that treats him super good that sometimes i do get jealous -.- family all safe and healthy. i have nothing else to ask for :)

and for all those other remaining wants, i dont pray to have it but i can work hard to get it myself :D however, im still looking forward for a better next year. hope i can do well in my remain subjects in foundation and enter my degree happily.

im so into pin-up fashion and stuffs cause i find it so uniquely beautiful. however pin-up costumes are all equally expensive. and i can hardly find them in the market as well. especially this mini city. remember i mentioned i had a photo-shoot awhile ago? and yes it a series of 50s' pin-up theme photos. my photographer is a lovely girl, Munie, whom is also one of Vanity members :)

its so much comfortable to have a female photographer compared to a male ones. cause girl and girl, we can discuss what kind of pin-up posing we can do, search for the costumes, lend me stuffs for the shoots and also give me guidance for the make-up needed to be applied for the theme.

i grew taller that day wtf. wore Munie's sister's super-awesome red wedges. im so in love with it but its not mine T___T been hunting for this kind of pin-up wedges since forever but like seriously. where are you all hiding!? i also put on chilli red lipstick to suit the theme and Munie's mum curled my hair for me :D

oh and the venue is Kilkenny restaurant. got the owner's permission and he is so friendly. we did not spend a single cent there. and used up every corners of the restaurant.

Munie even bring a vintage telephone to Kilkenny :')

the white top im wearing that day is actually a long ones. so i looked super awkward with that weird belly when i tunked it into my skirt. oh and not to forget the vintage luggage and straw hats belong to Munie's family as well :P

i actually smoked! lol. cant stand it and feel like choking to death that time :S but the smoke in the photo is not obvious so Munie has to edit in some.

hey guys, been really busy recently with dance practices and showcases. neglecting my blog as i always do. so now i'll do a summary of these massive updates aite ;)

got my new baby last Saturday, her name is BabyPhin. if you know what it is.

and of course, i signed up with digi. love their iphone plan. i chose iDiGi88, the 1GB quota ones, only have to pay RM60 per month for the unlimited data plan which come along with free calls, sms and mms. bought a baby pink casing for BabyPhin @ one jaya. i think i will just buy the following casings online :P

apart from that, did manicure myself. its leopard prints! its super easy. only 3 steps and you are done with salon-like manicure xD

1. Apply base coat(its ok if you skip this) and any nail colour you prefer.
2. Add on the leopard prints with another nail colour.
3. Line up the prints with preferably black colour.

this is the final results :) took awhile ago. think im going to remove it soon.

the stage that night was amazing. love it. this was taken during our rehearsal one day before.

We did the same routine as the Borneo Street Dance Comp. but we did change the positioning since all 7 members can join the showcase this time :) check out our video here!

Borneo Street Dance Comp & BreakFree Youth Fest

wow thats a really long title! lets do the Borneo Street Dance Comp first! :D

its held on the 13th of November, 2011 at The Spring. its my dad birthday that day. had an pre celebration with him not only because of my dance comp, but he was also travelling at Vietnam too that time :P

this was the set up for the stage. nice Christmas theme. the only thing is that its round! gosh. mentioned in the previous preview post, I dont like round stage!

and this is our group! Lightning x Vanity Crew! do you know which one is me? :P

Lightning x Vanity Crew is a complement of 2 different crews, Lightning Crew and Vanity Crew. And so fortunately, we are now grouped in to one. the 2 girls from Lightning joined us, "Vanity Crew" :D

the intro part. we just walked up the stage and waved to the crowd. we did practise for the few seconds intro routine but its starts at the opposite side of the stage. so yea. lol

me and munie had a little accident here. haha

so this is part of the photos taken by others during our performance. our routine is a combination of 4 mini routines :) first from cute and innocent, to street jazz, and finally to powerful plus sexy. we added wacking, krump, street jazz and hiphop in them :)

its last night and was held at Civic Centre. dont really know the purpose of that event :P the stage is super duper small. dont understand why its that small when they know that they are inviting people to dance.

we did the same routine. only that Munie was replaced by Teresa because it was her birthday yesterday. couldnt make it for the showcase :)

2nd round, went club after the show to celebrate Vanity's member, Munie's 20th bday :) my lesson after the club, need to pratise more on freestyle! im so grateful to have all these people in my life. and also the hubby who always accompany me even though he was exhausted after work :X btw he danced at the club last night! haha love it~
